Celebrate one of Virginia’s native fruits at the Third Annual Pawpaw Festival. On Saturday, August 26 from 10am to 4pm come enjoy free tastings/ raffles for Pawpaw saplings, educational booths and talks by the Butterfly Society of Virginia, Colonial Bee-Keepers, Peninsula Tree Stewards, Hampton Roads Bird Club, Newport News Waterworks, Peninsula Master Naturalists, Leave no Trace, and Foxy Lady Press. To top things off there will be live music, food, and children’s activities.
