Huntington Park Botanical Garden
The Huntington Park Botanical Garden inspires environmental stewardship by showcasing plants and landscapes that thrive in Coastal Virginia. Reimagined after the loss of the former rose garden to incurable Rosette Disease, the new garden celebrates resilience, sustainability, and biodiversity. The garden features several themed garden areas, including a meadow, summer-blooming garden, sensory garden, and native plant garden. These spaces model sustainable landscaping practices, emphasize the importance of insects and pollinators, and showcase resilient, climate-appropriate plantings. It is a welcoming place where the community can learn, explore, and connect with nature.
